"NO expiration date...Ever" & Made in ChinaFeb 16, 2010 No idea yet if these strips even work. One star as I would not have purchased it had I known [per the manufacturer] that there is absolutely no expiration date on this product [I called as I could find nothing on the box]. That just disturbs me. How can there be no expiration date? Ever? Makes no sense other than no expiration date is good for inventory. You don't get rid of the out-dated ones, just continue to sell them. And, actually, it was not the manufacturer who told me that as these strips are made in China. It was the distributor. This is a quasi-health related product made in China [yes, I know lots are, but when I can avoid such, I will]. Won't reorder.
pH ion stripsFeb 14, 2010 The pHion-Diagnostic pH Test Strips were exactly as advertised and exactly what I wanted. We need to test the pH of our dog's urine regularly because of his bladder stones. The price was good and the labeling on the bottle makes it very easy to read the pH number. Thank You.
These work great!Feb 03, 2010 I bought these to test my saliva, since my teeth have been getting very sensitive.
I found my saliva is very acidic -- as low as 4.5 to 5.75, most likely due to GERD. (My urine, by contrast, is alkaline.)
I take prescription medication for reflux and don't have much heartburn, but I have a chronic cough and wheezing. The acid seems to be migrating to my throat and mouth. It was a wake-up call. Now I need to do something before I lose my teeth/voice. When I chew gum, my saliva becomes alkaline. The test strips have been very helpful in showing me this.
My doctor had suggested fundoplication surgery for the reflux, and I thought that was a bit drastic. I thought my symptoms were allergies. But seems they're caused by acid, not allergies.

stonesJan 30, 2010 The chart on the bottle is not easy to read. I would like a bigger colored chart like I received with the earlier strips.
