I am an older lady with pre-diabetes and thyroid problems, and have been unable to stop the voracious appetite and cravings. I read about this product here in Amazon.com, so I purchased this product along with the capsules and three of the meal replacement drinks a month or so ago, and started using them the past 3 weeks. I have found that this fiber blend works best with my body. I cannot handle the meal replacement drinks as they are made with whey and I can't handle milk products.
I usually take 3 capsules of the Matrix formula before breakfast, then my 2 scoops of this Appetite Control Fiber product before lunch, and later, one more capsule. I just take this product in water and I have no problem with the texture - just drink it fast and follow with lots more water. The flavoring in this product really makes taking it easy.
So far, in 3 weeks, I have been able to control my appetite and have lost 13 lbs. I am getting used to the extra fiber and feel very good with the product. I used to have to eat something every 3 hours or so and was always hungry no matter how much I ate, but now I have cut back to just 3 smaller meals a day and I don't crave snacks. And my blood sugar numbers are coming down.
I love this product. Only thing I found that really controls the cravings and lets me stick to a low calorie diet.

I was previously using another fiber powder daily. It was time for a change. I tried PGX along with a couple of others.
The PGX was the only mixture that gave me the dose of fiber I was looking for and included appetite control. At first I thought this was a bit hokey but PGX actually did control my appetite.
In the beginning the appetite control would last until dinner. As my body became more accustomed to the mix I find that I need PGX several times a day. But it works for me.
The only negative is that you can't just mix with water. The powder is coarse and does not dissolve well. If you add some orange juice it hides the undissolved powder and goes down easy.
If you are looking for a daily does of fiber and appetite control (or just appetite control) this is your product.

Since I bought this as a gift for someone else, I can only take her word for it that the price for the quantity was a bit high.
As far as the quality of the product and how she feels? She loves it!
