Good greensFeb 11, 2010
I am convinced that the more greens you eat, the better, and Perfect Food is an easy way to get good quality greens. I take 3-5 tablets almost every day, along with eating a pretty healthful diet in general, and I really think it's made a difference. I rarely have the reflux symptoms that I used to have daily, no longer take medication for that (other than an occasional Rolaids when I make really bad food choices!), which I attribute to the enzymes and numerous micronutrients that are inherent in quality greens. I no longer take vitamin supplements per se because I don't trust vitamins that have been isolated from their sources--it just makes sense that natural is better. Garden of Life stuff is not cheap for sure, but I do think they are top quality natural supplements and worth the money. At age 51, I know that I have to take care of this body, no one else is going to do it for me--so bring on the Perfect Food!

Love this stuff. I don't eat as many fruits or veggies as I'd like to...because of my job, so this helps take care of my "perfect food" intake. Good for those who don't like veggies, like my wife. Also the tablet form is a must...the powder will knock you on your butt...taste like the bottom of a lawn mower. No taste invovled with the tablets, unless you like to suck on them...wouldn't do it!!!

I bought this for my family who do not eat enough veggies in their diet. It works very well for people who hate to eat veggies, but need them in their diet. The taste is ok, if you take them with a flavored drink you will not taste it at all. my Husband will not eat veggies so this was a great alternative.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE TAKING VITAMINS....THIS ONE IS ALL YOU NEED..MY CHOLESTORAL WAS HIGH LAST YEAR,A NUTRIONIST SUGGESTED I TAKE THIS.
AFTER 4 MONTHS MY COUNT WAS NORMAL. MY DR. TOLD ME, I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU DID IT...BUT WHATEVER YOUR'E DOING KEEP IT UP.
ONLY BUY IN PILLS..NOT POWDER

Super Green Food to meet vegetable needsDec 08, 2008
This caplet is perfect for the person on the go who really doesn't have the time to sit down to a balanced meal. Take with a glass of water and it will digest easily, giving your body the nutrition it needs to help rebuild muscle and keep your brain functioning smoothly. My husband does hard physical labor every day in construction and he swears by this for recovery and maintenance. For me, I work on the computer all day and sometimes don't take time out for lunch, so this keeps me going and I have not had any severe colds or flu in the three years since I have been taking it. As a great side effect, if taken an hour before or after consuming alcohol, it will greatly reduce hangover symptoms!
