I saw this at a local store, and because it was lactose and gluten free, decided to give it a try. I'm pretty cautious about buying stuff, as I'm finicky about taste. If it doesn't taste good, I don't care how healthy it is- I won't eat it.
I bought the individual packets of each of these 3 flavors: vanilla chai, chocolate and berry. Vanilla chai was OK, chocolate was forgettable, but oh berry! Drop in some pureed banana and we're in heaven! Although to give it some credit it was fine all by itself.
Amazon has the best price so far on these, so I'll be ordering this one. The pros: taste,it was satisfying and I had no cravings all day when I drank this in the morning! Unbelievable! I never thought I'd see the day! I had energy and the fiber is really good for you. The cons: a bit gritty if you're using only water, but I'm willing to bet that once I add some from of fruit and blend this as a smoothie- mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... 'nuf said.

This is my favorite of all the flavors I've tried. The only one I haven't tried yet is the vanilla chai. I've been a big fan of stevia for years now so the sweetness is just right for me. This stuff has everything you need in it. I love that it has lots of calcium in it- so important for women and that it doesn't have any sugar in it. Sugar is so high in all the other protein drinks and I can't tolerate soy or whey either. I've struggled with problems with candida and have found that this product is perfect for me and that's saying a lot.
I drink a shake every morning before I go for a run. I think this stuff tastes great but I'm someone who mostly eats whole, organic foods. If you're more into processed foods it make take awhile to get used to the taste.

I truly love the Vega product line, it's a really quick way to get a load of fiber, probiotics, vitamins and protein in 2 scoops. However, having tried all of the flavors this is one of my least favorite and frankly they would have been better forgoing this flavor entirely as I think it's worse than the natural flavor.

I love this product. I have been drinking protein shakes for years for breakfast and am happy to say I have a new favorite. I mix it with strawberries and raspberries and a little bit of rice milk. It is very substantial, tastes fantastic and makes me feel great! Highly recommend.
