 works for some people, and I'm one!Mar 30, 2010
There are a number of reviews saying this product doesn't work. I suppose it doesn't for everyone. Nothing does.
I starting taking two caps a day in late August and I also started counting all my calories, every single one. I still ate a lot, but I ate less than I otherwise would have. I've stopped counting now and I think some of my eating habits have changed so that I am consuming less.
I've lost 28 pounds in 7 months. I don't think that happened just because of the cut to my calories, because I have still been eating on average between 2000 and 2500 calories a day. I also have felt better since I started taking acai. Before I used to need to sleep 8 hours a night or I would have a bad sinus headache the next day. I also needed to eat exactly on time and a lot or the same thing would happen. I now can sleep 6 or 7 hours if I need to, and can go longer without eating. Not that I want to treat my body harshly, but it is so nice to be able to decide to put off eating for an hour or to occasionally stay up late and get things done without worrying about decreased productivity later.
I admit there are probably several reasons for my weight loss and improved health. I do think that acai is one of them. I am happy with what I think it is doing, and I feel good about the fact that it is food (a staple for some indigenous Brazilians) and not something designed in a lab.

I have read other people's reviews and was laughing hysterically.
Do you really believe this product is going to save you from autoimmune or other disorders?
And according to one review it is full of antioxidants??? ARE YOU SERIOUS?
How do you know? Or you are from the company who is selling this really chalky powder on recent ACAI HYPE??
Everybody, please just stick to taste, flavor, price etc in your reviews. Do not give poor people ideas some product that has absolutely no proven evidence on any facts it is good for you is going to help with disease or any health problems!
Do not waste you monies, this product will do nothing for you health wise!
Taste is OK, nothing very special. If you want to add to smoothies, it is not bad.
However do not fall for miracle food advertising!
Pricey and very bland. Three stars at most.

We've gone through three jars. We make a smoothie in the a.m. Gives a nice energy boost without jitters and keeps you regular. Not a weight loss product, but definitely has advantages. I feel more mentally alert and less susceptible to stress.

Sambazon Acai - It WorksNov 08, 2009
I have been taking the Sambazon Acai caps for over a year. Before taking Acai, my energy level had been sluggish at best. This Acai does all that it says it does and more. I have lots of energy, I have lost 15 pounds, my hair and nails grows like a weed and other things I won't mention. (As for the weight loss benefit, it helps to proceed with some self control.)I love this product!

This product noticeably improves acne! That has become the main reason I use this product now!
